Met Jack and his family in the park for his 6-month portraits. I’m finding it hard to believe that half a year has passed already. He’s getting big, and cute, and is a total flirt!
Look at those chins and chubby neck rolls! I could eat him up with a spoon and a side of snickerdoodles.

I donated one of my holiday mini-session packages to our local elementary school’s raffle, and this gorgeous family won! Congratulations, you guys – I had a great time working with you!
and it was and still is among my very favorites of all the images I have ever taken.
That baby girl is a preschooler now, and a big sister.
I went out to the family farmstead for little sister’s baby portraits – she’s at that terrific age when she’s sitting up and charming, but not quite mobile enough to get away from the photographer. Timing is everything. 
I love love love those chubby little legs!
And I loved this teeter-totter (which you might have gotten a glimpse of in this post) which her dad fashioned out of an old tractor. It was the perfect prop… too bad it was too big for me to stuff in my camera bag.
What is that? On your face? It looks like a snout. Are you sure? It looks like mine… I think I’d better check it out…
(seconds later, the photographer was on her rear.)
Meet Izzy. His mom rescued him from the shelter. I went out to his obedience school to meet him and take his portrait. He showed off his tricks and then posed for me. He is as well-behaved as he is beautiful, and it is so wonderful that he has found a good forever home.
